Board Advisory

It is becoming increasingly difficult for organisations to keep track of environmental legislation and innovative low carbon technologies. Green Energy Partners can provide a board or senior management advisory service to assist in monitoring the organisation’s environmental performance and ensure that it is up to date with existing and impending legislation.

Green Energy Partners has a number of senior consultants with experience of advising organisations at senior management and board level on a wide range of environmental subjects. Normally the consultant will start by performing a review of existing policy and strategy and will report to the board or management team on the organisation’s current environmental performance. They then will attend senior management environmental committees at least four times a year to provide an independent perspective on how the organisation is performing with managing its emissions, energy use, waste and water. This includes ensuring that the organisation is kept informed about the latest legislative updates, environmental technology advances and the energy price outlook.

The consultant is usually included in any environmental reporting and will monitor progress between meetings. They are also available to assist in solving any environmental issues that arise from time to time.
