Software Training

To be able to quality assure and lodge display energy certificates you must become an accredited energy assessor. Training and accreditation is available through a number of schemes, details can be found on our energy assessor training page.

Under the requirement to become an energy assessor to produce display energy certificates there is a requirement to obtain a certificate of competency in the use of an approved software package. digitalenergy energy software training is equally important to those on route to become accredited as well as those providing support and administration.

Scheduled Webinars and Training
As digitalenergy is a web based software tool, training can take place over the internet saving time, cost and of course carbon though classroom based sessions are available for that more personal approach. There are three categories available:

• digitalenergy overview - for those wanting to know a little more (approximately 40 min)
• Online registered user training (approximately 2 hours)
• Classroom training (full day including lunch).

e-learning
If you have already taken part in one of our training sessions and would like to brush-up on the use of the software, we now have a set of e-learning modules to assist you along the way. These tutorials cover the fundamental uses of digitalenergy including how to login to the software, how to add your accredited assessor details and how to create a Display Energy Certificate. Inbuilt into digitalenergy are many help functions and quick tips. Knowledge is captured throughout the experience of using the software by our in house and partnering assessors, this knowledge is then shared with our user community.
