CRC Stakeholder Engagement Programme

The Carbon Reduction Commitment Energy Efficiency Scheme (CRC EES) is a UK-wide mandatory carbon emission trading scheme for large businesses and public sector organisations. It is based on a ‘cap and trade’ mechanism, providing a financial incentive to improve energy efficiency by putting a price on carbon emissions from consumption.

With the scheme already underway and registration required by 30th September 2010, getting data management, auditing and low carbon performance strategies in place is now crucial. In the medium term organisations need to prepare now to monitor and forecast emissions accurately and purchase/trade sufficient allowances. In addition, the financial implications and risks associated with the scheme need to be understood and managed.

In order to prepare you for the scheme and assess your readiness for the CRC, Green Energy Partners have designed a one day programme that introduces the stakeholders to the CRC, informs about strategic considerations and assesses your organisation’s readiness.

Our senior consultants have provided CRC workshops  for professional and trade institutions, NHS, Local Authorities, industrial and commercial clients, along with investment organisations.
