Building Condition & Asset Surveys

There is, typically, a lack of documented information regarding a building’s condition and operation. For example, details of heating control strategies, a building’s fixed assets and the condition of these assets are often not readily available.

Green Energy Partners has developed a unique service which combines all of the above into a ‘live’ building log book. This includes the building condition and assets relative to the building’s carbon emission performance, and can be updated as the building is improved or altered.

The building log book includes the following:

• Building arrangement and layout
• Measured building surveys and plans
• Building condition reports
• Asset register including heating, cooling, lighting, fire protection, security equipment etc.
• Asset condition reports
• Equipment performance test reports
• Building user guide
• Building services control guide
• Carbon performance impact assessment

Our engineers use a number of tools and systems to assess building data and performance, including:

• Infra red thermal imaging to assess the building fabric and the condition of building services
• CAD software to provide measured building surveys
• Benchmark and Modelling software to provide carbon impact performance
• Log book methodology compliant with CIBSE TM31
