Engineering giant reveals plan to expand Scope 3 carbon footprinting service

Having successfully reported on the carbon emissions associated with their buildings and transport, growing numbers of businesses will now step up efforts to measure the carbon footprint of their supply chain.

That is the prediction of engineering and consultancy giant Arup, which is anticipating a surge in demand for its carbon footprinting services as firms attempt to gauge the environmental impact of their suppliers and identify areas where they can extract environmental and financial savings from their supply chain.
